You will have specific responsibility for supporting our volunteers and staff working in the Community Hospitals across Leicestershire & Rutland as well as well as promoting the role of Chaplaincy within these hospitals.  You will also be a first point of contact for urgent requests for religious support from patients and families.

You will join a multi-faith and belief team (currently comprising 15 paid staff and 100 volunteers) that provides religious, spiritual and pastoral care to patients, visitors and staff.They are looking someone who is eager to work in a multi-faith context alongside the NHS’s first paid non-religious chaplaincy team member.

You will have accreditation/licensing with authority to practice as a world religion or belief (including non-religious beliefs) leader/representative and/or pastoral worker.

You will have substantial pastoral experience. Previous experience of chaplaincy and/or healthcare is desirable.
