BMS World Mission

The BMS World Mission Council is the governing body for BMS World Mission

The Council is one way in which BMS expresses its accountability to the Baptist churches and unions of the UK, who support the work of BMS through prayer, promotion, financial support and service.

The Council also provides opportunity for staff and trustees to hear ‘from the grass roots’ about areas of concern or encouragement.  Further, Council serves as an opportunity to keep members up to date on major developments from around the world.

BMS World Mission Council meets for one day twice a year.

EMBA has two representatives on BMS World Mission Council, currently, Mrs Elspeth Liberty (member of Lincoln BC) and Miss Pat Woolhouse (member of Park Road BC, Peterborough).
