Youthscape Essentials is an innovative course for volunteers and paid youth leaders that increases your skills and understanding about working alongside young people today. Whether you're running a community project, a church youth group, or occasionally helping out on a Sunday morning, the course is designed with you in mind! It's not about the numbers of young people attending, it's about putting God at the centre of your youth ministry.
Baptists Together CYF Roundtable and our Associations have teamed up with Youthscape to enable us to offer this course free to youth workers in our EMBA churches.
As well as gaining insights into the world of young people, learning key skills applicable to every kind of youth activity and reflecting on and developing a biblical understanding of character and ministry, you be learning alongside other youth workers in our Association. This will give you the opportunity to share ideas and pray for one another.

The course will take place online over 10 sessions starting Wednesday 22nd January 2025 at 7pm. We'll have a two week break over half term (19th February) and then continue, finishing on Wednesday 2nd April 2025. The course is free to people from EMBA churches.
The course will be delivered by our CYF Associate, Sarah Fegredo and Ali Hall, Youth Worker at Bretton Baptist Church.
