INFORMATION FOR CHURCH VOTING DELEGATES
Following the adoption of our Revised Articles of Association in 2023, the Association is no-longer required to hold an AGM and so as part of our gathering together, a short General Meeting will be held to consider and vote on the nominations received for the vacancies on the EMBA Board of Directors.
Every member church of the EMBA is asked to nominate ONE person (voting delegate) to vote on behalf of their church.
Please note, whilst only one person per church can act as the Authorised Church Representative (voting delegate), any number of attendees are welcome.
On the day, voting delegates are asked to visit the ‘Delegates Registration Point’ on arrival. They will need to sign in as a voting delegate and pick up a ballot paper. The ballot paper will then need to be completed and placed in the ballot box no later than 1.45pm (end of lunch break).
The result of the ballot vote will be announced at 2.05pm.
Please could we strongly encourage all EMBA churches to consider sending a delegate to represent the voice of your church at the General Meeting. We would ask that the nominations received for the vacancies on the board of Directors are shared with your church as soon as possible to enable prayerful reflection and consideration.
***Please note: Photography / filming may take place during the day and be used in future EMBA promotional material, publicity on the EMBA website, YouTube and social media. If you would prefer not to be included, please notify Sarah Fegredo (EMBA Communications Lead).
