Sue Steer coordinates the mutual support of pioneers across the region, which includes meeting on Zoom and gathering for our own pioneer-focused retreat days. Sue is always keen to hear from any interested in pioneering.
Sue Steer
Sue has been in pioneer ministry for 15 years. Initially founding the Pathways Centre at Hinckley Baptist Church and developing a 7 day a week approach to being church through community development. Since 2016 she has worked in a new housing development with the remit of creating a healthy community for all faiths and none as well as seeding a Christian missional community.
Sue trained in Pioneer Ministry through CMS, is accredited as a Baptist Minister and is part of the BU Pioneer Round Table. Through this Associate role she hopes to build understanding of pioneering in the region, form a support network of EMBA pioneers and bring their voices to the BU Round Table.
If you're a pioneer already, sense a call to a pioneering or seeding new forms of being church then Sue would love to hear from you.
