Boulton Lane, which is now part of Derby Urban Church, celebrates their first baptism for twelve years.
On Sunday 23rd November, our friend Janet was baptised at Boulton Lane - it was a wonderful celebration with Galatians 2v20.
"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
Martin from Eastwood Baptist Church, also in Derbyshire, reports:
"Last Sunday (30th November) we baptised three young men - two of them had been attending Sunday morning groups with their family for several years, and the third walked through the door earlier this year wanting to know more about Jesus having read about Him using online resources - I would say this is our experience of "a Quiet Revival". Relatives and friends were involved in the service and stayed afterwards to share a buffet provided by one of the families. It was a hugely joyous occasion, and follows three previously unreported Baptisms from last year, bringing the total number of baptisms in the present interregnum to six, and the total new members who have joined us in that time to 10. We rejoice in seeing God at work in our community!"
